Founder & President
Paul Hogenson
Paul brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate finance, lending, and investment strategy. As the owner of a successful mortgage company, he helped countless individuals and families achieve their financial goals before retiring in 2014.
After discovering the power of Delaware Statutary Trusts (DSTs) and recognizing a significant gap in investor education and access within the marketplace, Paul came out of retirement to found DST Investment Advisors. His mission is to help investors preserve wealth, simplify ownership, and access institutional-quality real estate through tax-advantaged investment strategies.
Today, Paul works closely with investors navigating 1031 exchanges, DST investments, and passive real estate opportunities. Holding FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses, as well as an Arizona real estate license, he provides clients with knowledgeable guidance tailored to their unique financial objectives.
Paul is passionate about helping investors make informed decisions and building lasting relationships based on trust and education. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, spending time with family, and visiting his two grandsons in Minnesota.
Vice President of Sales
Brenna Winters
Brenna brings experience across commercial real estate and finance, with a deep understanding of brokerage, development, investment, and tax-advantaged strategies. Originally from Oregon, Brenna relocated to Scottsdale in 2021, embracing the local lifestyle while expanding her career in the industry.
In 2024, Brenna joined DST Investment Advisors as Vice President of Sales to help more people recognize the power of DSTs as a tool for building and preserving wealth. She is committed to providing clients with effective financial solutions through a broad portfolio of real estate investments. Holding a real estate license, notary certifications, and Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, Brenna offers a comprehensive, knowledgeable approach tailored to her clients’ unique investment needs.
Brenna is passionate about community engagement and values expanding her network and knowledge, believing that meaningful connections are among life’s greatest assets. Outside of work, she enjoys off-roading and hiking in the mountains, spending time with loved ones, and hanging out with her cat, Skynyrd.

Ashley Hogenson

Beyond the personal connection, Ashley leverages her corporate experience in Human Resources, Training, and Systems to build a strong, client-focused infrastructure. Managing accurate documentation, securing sensitive financial information, and keeping clients informed are all part of what makes DST Investment Advisors a trusted and dependable partner.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Ashley and her husband plan to raise their two boys there as well, fostering the same love for their home state. They also have a Labrador retriever, named Jack, whose lovingly considered their first ‘fur baby,’. As a family they enjoy spending time outdoors, yes, even in the winter. Travel also plays a big part of their lives, especially trips to Arizona. Ashley also loves spending time socializing with local friends and family, while creating memories and enjoying life’s adventures.
